How to study in Canada | Study Abroad | Full Process

I'm gonna show you guys the entire process for migrating to CANADA as a student in less than five minutes. There are certain criteria that you need to fulfill first. Starting with education. You should have at least completed your 12THor GRADUATION before applying. But applying after graduation is more favorable than after the 12th so keep that in mind.

Then after you need to give IELTS examination. It is the English language assessment test that assesses your English proficiency. There are 4 skills tested in this examination. e. (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)And You have to score a minimum of 6.5 overall bands out of 9.0 and not less than 6.0 bands individually for a student visa.

After both the criteria are fulfilled there comes The college hunt. You need to go through many colleges in order to select one. But more importantly, you need to filter out which province you wanna live in. Each province has its pros and cons. Mostly everybody applies to more than one college just to be in a safe spot.

You need to pay application fees while applying and then wait for the offer letter. After receiving an offer letter, students are required to pay a deposit to finalize their seats in the program. So after you've selected the college, paid the deposit, you'll have about a couple of months to figure out your college fees. Most of us opt for BANK LOANS.

Usually, it takes about 1 to 1.5 months for the bank loan process. So thereafter you'll need to pay first-year college fees and the GIC amount. GIC stands for Guaranteed Investment Certificate, which is your first-year expense needed to be paid in advance before applying for the visa. There's one more step before applying for the visa that is MEDICAL CHECKUP. It is compulsory for all visa applicants to go through this step.

There are designated Medical Centers appointed through which you can get it done. In India, you can find these centers in Ahmedabad, Banglore, Chandigarh, Chennai, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Mohali, Mumbai, New Delhi, Pune, and Trivandrum.

The checkup consists of around 8 steps which are (Eye checkup, Height measurement, Weight measurement, Blood Pressure, Blood sample, Urine sample, Chest X-Ray, and lastly consulting a Doctor). Then comes the most awaited step.

VISA. Applying for the visa you'll need a lot of documents. So I'll be making a separate video in which I'll mention each and every document which is required for Students. (if you're watching this video late than there will be a link to the video in the description and on the top-right corner of this video flashing right now) Generally, it takes less than a month for a Student Visa if you have everything in line.

Then comes the last final step i.e. Bio-metrics. In this step, you need to visit your nearest visa center and give your fingerprints and a picture of yours is also taken there. Afterward, if your visa is approved you need to submit your passport at one of the visa centers. And the final step is Air Tickets through which you'll be able to reach Canada.

What I suggest here is to book your air tickets via a local travel agent cause there are plenty of things to take care of, so it's best to hire an agent to do it. There one more additional step to be mentioned that is accommodation.

The easiest way to find accommodation is on-campus housing. But it will be a little bit costlier than other options. The best way to find housing is to search out various college Facebook groups. And there are various links in the description box below relevant to the entire process.

So do check it out. So that is all guys hope you got an insight into the process and wish you luck in your future endeavors.
